Director, Ethics & Compliance

Brandon Gibbons serves as Director of Ethics and Compliance for the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) on the Research team within Legal Affairs, a unit of Georgia Tech’s Office of the General Counsel. In this role, he leads GTRI’s ethics and compliance program, ensuring alignment with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards as well as industry best practices.

Since joining Georgia Tech in 2019, Brandon has drawn on a broad background spanning ethics and compliance, workforce strategy, regulatory affairs, investigations, and risk management across multiple industries. He is dedicated to fostering a culture of integrity that supports Georgia Tech’s mission and values. Through the development and implementation of robust compliance frameworks, he helps the Institute navigate complex regulatory environments and mitigate organizational risk.
