Meg Bailey Heintzel serves as Counsel on the Academic Affairs team in the Legal Affairs unit of Georgia Tech’s Office of the General Counsel. In this role, she advises on matters related to student life, academic agreements, and First Amendment issues. Since joining the Institute in 2022, Meg has been committed to advancing the university’s mission by supporting the vibrant and innovative work of Georgia Tech students.

She finds great fulfillment in being part of a community where groundbreaking ideas and student achievements thrive. Meg earned her J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law. Outside the office, she enjoys all things crafty and creative.
