
Patrice Saunders is a Compliance Officer on the Conflict of Interest team in Georgia Tech’s Office of Ethics and Compliance, a unit of the Office of the General Counsel. In this role, she collaborates with Institute leadership, faculty, staff, students, and external partners to ensure compliance with conflict of interest policies and to promote transparency and ethical conduct. She oversees the electronic disclosure system, provides training and outreach, and offers guidance on disclosure requirements.
With a strong background in regulatory compliance and privacy, Patrice interprets and applies Institute, Board of Regents, state, and federal policies to help faculty and staff navigate complex situations. She holds a master’s degree in International Policy Management and is skilled in reviewing external activities, conducting risk assessments, and implementing strategies to manage or eliminate conflicts.
Outside the office, Patrice enjoys traveling and spending time with family.
