Wayne Davenport serves as serves as Executive Director of Enterprise Risk Management in Georgia Tech’s Office of the General Counsel. In this role, he leads efforts to identify, assess, and manage risks that could impact the Institute’s ability to achieve its strategic goals.

Wayne joined Georgia Tech in 2021, bringing more than 30 years of experience in risk management across multiple industries. For the past decade, he has focused specifically on enterprise risk management (ERM), helping organizations design and implement resilient, forward-looking risk frameworks. He is committed to fostering a culture of informed decision-making and proactive risk awareness across the Institute.
