The Academic Affairs, Employment & Litigation legal team brings together two former OGC teams—Student Life & Academic Affairs and Employment & Litigation—now united under one umbrella to provide integrated, campus-wide legal support.
We partner with Institute leadership, faculty, staff, and students to address a broad spectrum of academic, employment, and litigation matters. Our work spans the student experience, workplace and human resource issues, and risk management, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations such as Title IX, Clery, FERPA, and more.
We also promote and uphold freedom of expression, academic freedom, and due process, developing and offering resources and training for the campus community. In addition to guiding policy development, agreements, and training, we serve as a liaison with the Attorney General’s office and collaborate closely with Human Resources to support the Institute’s people and mission.
At our core, we are committed to responsive, ethical, and practical legal counsel that helps Georgia Tech navigate challenges and advance its strategic goals.
